So this little quilt was in my etsy shop, priced at 125.00, but it sold at Craftsmen by Design for a mere 99.00. It was a bargain...all that hand embroidery and hand quilting. I hope the baby likes it.
The quilt below is displayed with permission from Mickey Lawler in Beacon, NY. There are some remarkable works of art at the textile show.
I made this quilt with Mickey Lawler fabric (mostly) and with her pattern. It is a lovely piece. I don't know if I will ever sell it. I do love it. It is now available at American Gifts in Red Hook New York.
Grandmother's Flower Garden makes a great patchwork clock. Pete makes the frames and I do the quilting. See them in Beacon until January 3.
This one sold in Kingston.
This modern wall hanging will be shown in a fiber show in Beacon. Then I think I will bring it to my new craft venue, Craftsmen by Design, in Poughkeepsie NY. It was created using applique and couching.
This baby quilt is for Mary and Shane's first baby. She is due any day now. Mary loves rubber duckies. So, I included three not-so-rubber duckies on the quilt. Mary and Shane are teachers. I expect Stella will learn her ABCs early. The quilt will get her started.
This is how our show and sale looks. We are at Catalyst Gallery in Beacon, NY until May 30, 2013. Some people call our space a "Pop-up." Yes, we popped into Beacon for two weeks, showing our work and we will pop back out pretty soon.
